KUALA LUMPUR, 26 Julai 2019– Sebanyak 6,229 usahawan perusahaan kecil dan sederhana (PKS) tempatan telah berdaftar menyertai pelbagai program bagi menempatkan produk mereka dalam platform pasaran maya atau e-marketplaces serantau dan global kata Menteri Komunikasi dan Multimedia, Gobind Singh Deo.
Beliau berkata selain itu sebanyak 60,000 peluang pekerjaan adalah dianggarkan melalui nilai aliran perdagangan berjumlah US$65 bilion pada 2025 dan US$3 bilion sebagai nilai tambah dari hasil industri logistik.
“Ia bakal menjana sebanyak 15,000 peluang pekerjaan dari industri yang terlibat secara langsung dan 45,000 peluang pekerjaan kesan berganda (multiplier effect) dari industri yang lain,” katanya dalam jawapan bertulis di Dewan Rakyat hari ini.
Beliau berkata demikian bagi menjawab soalan Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican (BN-Kepala Batas) yang bertanya status terkini pembangunan Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ) dan KLIA Aeropolis di Sepang.
DFTZ merupakan inisiatif strategik yang bertujuan meningkatkan eksport PKS tempatan ke luar negara serta menjadikan Malaysia sebagai hab e-Fulfilment e-Dagang serantau dan merupakan antara komponen dalam Projek KLIA Aeropolis.
Inisiatif itu juga diperkenalkan bagi membantu PKS tempatan untuk menggunkan platform maya bagi menembusi pasaran dunia serta menarik jenama global dan ‘e-Marketplaces’ untuk menjadikan Malaysia sebagai gerbang kepada pasaran ASEAN dan serantau.
Menurut Gobind, inisiatif tersebut juga menawarkan pelbagai manfaat kepada PKS antaranya sebagai platform terbaik untuk menembusi pasaran eksport melalui aktiviti e-Dagang rentas sempatan, menyediakan fasiliti gudang ‘e-Fulfilment’ yang lebih efisien, menyediakan platform perkhidmatan kerajaan secara lebih berintegrasi dan penambahbaikan ke atas sistem pelepasan Kastam dan kargo yang lebih singkat dari enam ke tiga jam.
Antara PKS yang telah berjaya menembusi pasaran eksport menerusi DFTZ ialah Koperasi Groom Big dari Perlis yang telah mengeskport produk tempatan seperti kopi dan kuih tradisional ke Ghana, Afrika Selatan dengan nilai eksport USD2.2 juta.
Syarikat Yan Ming Resources Sdn Bhd dari Selangor yang mengeksport sarang burung walit ke China, Bangladesh dan Qatar dengan nilai eskport sebanyak USD 3.7 juta pada 2017 dan Afif Trading dari Sabah yang mengeksport produk seperti rumpai laut dan udang sejuk beku ke Itali serta Poland dengan nilai eskport sebanyak USD240 ribu.
Selain itu, Gobind berkata dalam usaha membantu PKS tempatan dan usahawan belia dalam menceburi bidang e-dagang ke pasaran luar negara, Perbadanan Ekonomi Digital Malaysia (MDEC) turut menawarkan program latihan dan pembangunan kepakaran kepada mereka,
“Dalam memastikan pekerja tempatan dapat meraih peluang khususnya bagi pekerjaan bernilai tinggi, kerajaan sentiasa menyediakan dan melengkapi bakat dan modal insan yang mempunyai kemahiran diperlukan untuk bidang-bidang tertentu.
“Di samping program pembangunan khas modal insan yang dilaksanakan oleh badan-badan tertentu seperti Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM), Kementerian Sumber Manusia (KSM), SME Corp, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) dan Alibaba usaha-usaha-usaha berterusan ini turut dilaksanakan melalui pembangunan kurikulum, modul dan program latihan di peringkat kolej kemahiran, institusi pengajian sehingga k eke peringkat pembangunan kerjaya dan profesional,” katanya.
