KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Feb 2020 — Kongres Kesatuan Pekerja-pekerja Di Dalam Perkhidmatan Awam (CUEPACS) meminta agar pekeliling mengenai penebusan awal gantian cuti rehat (GCR) 75 hari oleh penjawat awam dikeluarkan secepat mungkin.
Menurut Presiden CUEPACS Adnan Mat, perkara itu sepatutnya berkuat kuasa pada 1 Jan 2020, namun belum ada pekeliling mengenainya dikeluarkan Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA).
“CUEPACS berharap agar pihak kerajaan melalui JPA dapat mengambil tindakan segera terhadap perkara yang telah dibentangkan dalam Belanjawan 2020 bagi perkhidmatan awam demi kebajikan anggota perkhidmatan awam,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Laporan sebelum ini menyebut penebusan awal GCR selama 75 hari untuk ganjaran wang tunai itu ialah bagi penjawat awam yang telah berkhidmat sekurang-kurangnya 15 tahun.
