Beliau bercakap kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Pelancaran Program-Program Modal Insan: Menyemarakkan Kemakmuran, Memperkasakan Rakyat anjuran Pihak Berkuasa Pelaksanaan Koridor Utara (NCIA) dengan kerjasama kerajaan negeri di Institut Latihan Statistik Malaysia, Sungkai dekat sini, hari ini.
Yang turut hadir Ketua Eksekutif NCIA, Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John.
Selain NTEP, Ahmad Faizal turut melancarkan tiga lagi program modal insan NCIA iaitu program empowerNCER@Perak, entrepreneurNCER@Perak dan Dana Mudahcara Bumiputera (DMB) yang menjurus ke arah pembangunan menyeluruh bagi mewujudkan lebih banyak pekerjaan, meningkatkan peluang keusahawanan dan melonjakkan pendapatan isi rumah yang mula dilaksanakan sejak September lepas.
Ahmad Faizal berkata program empowerNCER@Perak melalui komponen Latihan Kemahiran dan Keusahawanan berupaya melahirkan komuniti berpendapatan tinggi mencakupi pelbagai bidang termasuk kulinari dan pemprosesan makanan sejuk beku, bakeri dan pastri, baikpulih elektrik dan pendingin hawa, jahitan, dandanan rambut lelaki dan spa kecantikan.
Bagi memperkasakan program empowerNCER@Perak, institusi pendidikan tinggi di Perak akan dilantik untuk menjalankan kelas bimbingan dan kursus pembangunan sahsiah khas untuk para pelajar, guru dan ibu bapa yang terlibat.
“Melalui program empowerNCER–MyKasih pula, sekolah terpilih akan dibekalkan peralatan teknologi maklumat terkini dan peralatan robotik supaya pelajar lebih seronok dan berminat untuk belajar subjek Sains, Teknologi, Kejuruteraan dan Matematik atau STEM secara kreatif dan interaktif.
