KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Dis 2019 — Seramai 100 graduan lepasan institusi pengajian tinggi awam dan swasta berpeluang menyertai program latihan sebagai perantis penasihat kewangan menerusi program Bank Rakyat Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (Protege).
Pemangku Pengarah Urusan Bank Rakyat, Datuk Rosman Mohamed berkata program di bawah Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan (MED) itu akan memberi tumpuan kepada kemahiran keusahawanan yang intensif menerusi latihan dalam kelas dan peluang latihan di tempat kerja.
“Ia turut menawarkan kemahiran praktikal dan pengalaman sebenar di tempat kerja selain memperoleh ilmu dan pengalaman dalam industri perbankan.
“Antara kriteria yang diperlukan bagi menyertai program ini ialah aktif dalam aktiviti kokurikulum, mempunyai keperibadian yang menarik, kemahiran komunikasi yang baik, berintegriti serta mempunyai kemahiran berfikir secara analitik,” katanya ketika ditemui pemberita selepas majlis pelancaran program Bank Rakyat Protege di sini hari ini.
Rosman berkata sehingga kini seramai 39 graduan telah ditawarkan menyertai program selama 12 bulan itu dan pencarian peserta program akan diteruskan di beberapa negeri lain termasuk di Sabah dan Sarawak.
“Sudah pasti dengan kemahiran dan modul yang diberikan nanti akan menambah baik kebolehpasaran graduan yang menyertai program Bank Rakyat Protege untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan.
“Bank Rakyat sentiasa prihatin dengan golongan graduan serta sentiasa berusaha membantu mereka mendapatkan peluang pekerjaan yang bersesuaian dengan kelayakan masing-masing, justeru manfaatkan peluang ini dengan sebaiknya,” katanya.
Tambah Rosman, graduan yang menunjukkan kebolehan dan prestasi memberangsangkan sepanjang tempoh 12 bulan menyertai program itu berpeluang untuk ditempatkan sebagai pekerja di bank berkenaan.
