“Peruntukan khas kecemasan itu merupakan sebahagian dasar kami bagi membantu koperasi yang mengalami musibah,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas melawat mangsa banjir di Pusat Pemindahan Sementara Sekolah Kebangsaan Bunohan di sini, hari ini.
Nordin berkata pihaknya turut menyalurkan bantuan barangan mentah bernilai RM20,000 kepada mangsa banjir di Kelantan.
“Kami mempunyai dasar bagi membantu rakyat yang menghadapi musibah. Jumlah nilai tidak penting kepada kami, namun apa yang penting adalah usaha kami untuk membantu rakyat yang memerlukan terutamanya yang terlibat bencana alam seperti banjir,” katanya.
