KUALA LUMPUR, 14 Nov: Pekerjaan yang dikategori kritikal pada masa depan sedang dalam proses penyenaraian untuk dijadikan panduan pelajar bagi memilih kursus bersesuaian di institusi pengajian tinggi (IPT).
Menteri Sumber Manusia, M Kulasegaran, berkata langkah itu selari dengan perkembangan Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang memerlukan bidang tertentu dalam sektor pekerjaan, terutama yang melibatkan kemahiran dan teknikal.
Penyenaraian itu kelak, menurutnya kemungkinan akan menyaksikan sebanyak kira-kira 30 peratus daripada pekerjaan sedia ada yang ditawarkan pada masa sekarang akan menjadi tidak lagi relevan pada masa akan datang.
“Ibu bapa perlu diberikan pendedahan mengenai jurusan yang sesuai diambil anak-anak mereka bagi memudahkan mendapat pekerjaan selepas tamat pengajian,” katanya, memetik kenyataannya kepada media selepas Majlis Anugerah Kualiti dan Inovasi Perkeso 2019 di sini, hari ini.
Kata Kulasegaran lagi, proses penyenaraian pekerjaan itu mendapat kerjasama Bank Dunia, selain beberapa jabatan kerajaan lain.
