KUALA LUMPUR, 24 Sept 2019 – Platform pelaburan digital Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP), i-Invest, mendapat sambutan memberangsangkan, dengan hampir 2,500 ahli melakukan transaksi bernilai RM32 juta dalam tempoh sebulan daripada pelancaran versi betanya pada 19 Ogos.
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif, KWSP Tunku Alizakri Alias berkata dengan pelancaran rasmi platform itu hari ini, KWSP menjadi dana persaraan pertama di dunia yang menghubungkan dana persaraan ahli kepada perkhidmatan pelaburan dalam talian.
Platform dalam talian perkhidmatan layan diri itu boleh diakses dalam bahagian Ahli di i-Akaun dan akan membolehkan ahli yang layak melabur secara terus sebahagian daripada simpanan Akaun 1 mereka ke dalam dana unit amanah yang ditawarkan oleh Institusi Pengurusan Dana dilulus KWSP.
“Pelancaran produk ini bertujuan mempermudahkan proses pelaburan dan memperkasakan ahli kami untuk mengawal masa depan kewangan mereka dengan instrumen yang akan membolehkan mereka membuat keputusan bermaklumat, bermula dengan pelaburan unit amanah mereka.
“Dengan instrumen ini, ahli-ahli boleh menjejak dan memantau pelaburan mereka, dan memahami pelaburan manakah yang paling terbaik untuk memenuhi keperluan mereka. Ini merupakan kelebihan penting dalam pasaran kewangan yang semakin mencabar dan tidak menentu pada hari ini,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas pelancaran rasmi i-Invest, di sini, hari ini.
Selain membolehkan ahli-ahli yang layak menguruskan sendiri dana unit amanah mereka sendiri, Pengerusi KWSP, Tan Sri Samsudin Osman berkata platform itu juga memperkasakan mereka dengan maklumat untuk mengakses, menganalisis, memantau dan melakukan transaksi dalam talian, yang menyediakan peluang kepada mereka untuk meningkatkan celik pelaburan mereka.
Samsudin berkata, i-Invest hanyalah satu permulaan bagi banyak lagi pencapaian dalam siri inovasi yang mencerminkan kesediaan KWSP untuk berdepan masa depan yang dipacu digital.
“Meskipun kami bermula dengan penawaran dana unit amanah, i-Invest akan terus dikembangkan dengan memasukkan tawaran pelaburan lain pada masa depan,” katanya.
i-lnvest KWSP menyediakan pilihan kepada ahli berusia 55 dan ke bawah untuk memindahkan sehingga 30 peratus daripada amaun dalam lebihan Simpanan Asas dalam Akaun 1 dan melabur secara terus ke dalam unit amanah yang ditawarkan Institusi Pengurusan Dana dilulus KWSP.
Sementara itu, ahli berusia 55 dan ke atas juga boleh menggunakan i-lnvest menerusi Akaun 55 atau Akaun Emas melalui i-Akaun sebagai cara pengeluaran, tertakluk kepada mengekalkan minimum RM1‚000 dalam akaun mereka.
KWSP meletakkan had maksimum 0.5 peratus caj jualan awal melabur dalam Institusi Pengurusan Dana berbanding tiga peratus bagi transaksi luar talian dan tradisional menerusi ejen.
