KUALA LUMPUR, 18 Sept 2019 — Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (Angkasa) akan menganjurkan Karnival Produk dan Perkhidmatan Koperasi Malaysia (MACCOPS) 2019 buat kali keempat dari 28 hingga 30 November depan.
Presiden Angkasa, Datuk Abdul Fattah Abdullah berkata penganjuran MACCOPS 2019 dengan kerjasama Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) itu akan menghimpunkan koperasi daripada pelbagai sektor ekonomi utama dalam dan luar negara.
“Antaranya ialah koperasi pembangunan perkhidmatan kewangan, pemborongan dan peruncitan, pelancongan, penjagaan diri dan kesihatan, pertanian dan industri asas tani, perladangan, pembangunan hartanah, inovasi dan teknologi serta pembangunan komuniti.
“MACCOPS 2019 adalah satu platform untuk gerakan koperasi di Malaysia menjalankan aktiviti ekonominya bagi memastikan ekosistem koperasi negara berdaya tahan di samping menjadi penyumbang kepada keluaran dalam negara kasar (KDNK) negara yang diunjurkan mencapai RM60 bilion pada 2030 atau lebih awal,” katanya pada sidang media selepas merasmikan pra-pelancaran MACCOPS 2019, di sini, hari ini.
Karnival itu juga diharapkan dapat memberi peluang kepada koperasi di seluruh negara menyertai pelbagai program perdagangan yang dirancang sepanjang tiga hari penganjuran tersebut seperti Sesi Pemadanan Perniagaan, Demonstrasi Produk dan Perkhidmatan, Pocket Talk, Perjanjian Persefahaman, Persidangan Tahunan ASEAN Cooperative Organization dan Seminar Cooperative to Cooperative (C2C) antara koperasi tempatan dan antarabangsa, katanya.
Abdul Fattah berkata MACCOPS 2019 yang akan berlangsung di Pusat Konvensyen¬ Antarabangsa Persada di Johor Bahru menyasarkan jualan dagangan sebanyak RM50 juta dengan jangkaan jumlah pengunjung lebih daripada 30,000 orang.
Seramai 180 pempamer terdiri daripada koperasi tempatan dan antarabangsa, syarikat tempatan serta multinasional akan mengambil bahagian dalam MACCOPS 2019, termasuk dari Indonesia, Singapura, Brunei, Vietnam, Korea dan Jepun.
