Pusat Gerakan Operasi (PGO) Bomba Sarawak dalam satu kenyataan memaklumkan, mangsa yang hilang tempat tinggal terdiri daripada sembilan pekerja warga tempatan serta 11 pekerja warga Indonesia yang berjaya menyelamatkan diri ketika kejadian.
“Punca dan jumlah kerugian masih lagi dalam siasatan,” menurut kenyataan itu yang menyatakan bomba menerima panggilan pada pukul 10.36 pagi.
Menurut PGO Bomba Sarawak, disebabkan lokasi kejadian terletak 215 kilometer dari balai, pasukan bomba tiba di lokasi pada pukul 1.21 petang ini.
“Kesemua mangsa tidak mengalami kecederaan, operasi ditamatkan pada pukul 3.21 petang setelah operasi pemadamanan dilakukan dengan menggunakan sumber air terbuka,” katanya.
