KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Ogos 2019 — Peniaga kekal optimistik bagi suku tahun ketiga 2019 dengan petunjuk keyakinan meningkat kepada +3.1 peratus berbanding +2.8 peratus yang direkodkan pada suku tahun sebelumnya, kata Jabatan Perangkaan.
Ketua Perangkawan Malaysia, Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin berkata berdasarkan kepada Statistik Kecenderungan Perniagaan Suku Tahun Ketiga 2019, di antara sektor yang ditinjau, sektor Perkhidmatan terus menjadi sektor yang paling optimistik dengan petunjuk keyakinan direkodkan pada +11.5 peratus pada suku tahun ketiga 2019.
“Dalam masa yang sama, prestasi perniagaan dijangka terus positif pada separuh kedua 2019 berbanding separuh pertama 2019 dengan imbangan bersih +18.2 peratus,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Pertubuhan di sektor Industri, Perdagangan Borong & Runcit dan Perkhidmatan optimistik terhadap prospek perniagaan mereka bagi enam bulan ke hadapan berakhir Disember 2019 dengan imbangan bersih masing-masing +18.9 peratus, +8.7 peratus dan +25.6 peratus.
Statistik Kecenderungan Perniagaan Suku Tahun Ketiga 2019 yang diterbitkan hari ini memaparkan jangkaan prestasi perniagaan bagi suku tahun dan enam bulan yang akan datang. Statistik adalah berdasarkan Survei Kecenderungan Perniagaan yang dijalankan secara suku tahunan.
Sementara itu, produktiviti buruh Malaysia yang diukur berdasarkan ukuran nisbah nilai ditambah per jam bekerja dan nilai ditambah per pekerja mengikut jenis aktiviti ekonomi kekal pada 2.4 peratus walaupun ekonomi negara berkembang pada suku kedua 2019.
“Produktiviti buruh Malaysia yang diukur sebagai nilai ditambah per jam bekerja pada suku kedua 2019 kekal 2.4 peratus (ST1 2019: 2.4 peratus) walaupun ekonomi negara berkembang 4.9 peratus (ST1 2019: 4.5 peratus). Pada suku ini, jumlah jam bekerja meningkat 2.4 peratus selepas mencatatkan 2.0 peratus pada suku sebelumnya,” katanya.
Katanya produktiviti buruh mengikut jam bekerja diukur dengan membandingkan jumlah barangan dan perkhidmatan yang dihasilkan (nilai ditambah) dengan jumlah jam bekerja dalam tempoh tertentu di mana sektor Pembinaan merekodkan kadar pertumbuhan tertinggi 3.3 peratus (ST1 2019: 4.5 peratus) pada ST2 2019.
Kedua-dua sektor Perkhidmatan dan Pembuatan masing-masing mencatatkan pertumbuhan 2.5 peratus diikuti oleh sektor Pertanian (2.2 peratus). Sementara itu, sektor Perlombongan & Pengkuarian terus mengalami kejatuhan pada 0.7 peratus berbanding negatif 0.8 peratus pada ST1 2019, katanya.
Produktiviti buruh mengikut pekerja mencatatkan pertumbuhan lebih tinggi pada suku ini dengan kadar 2.8 peratus (ST1 2019: 2.2 peratus) apabila pekerja meningkat 2.1 peratus berbanding 2.2 peratus pada suku sebelumnya.
