KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Ogos 2019 — Institut Koperasi Malaysia (IKM) menjalin kerjasama dengan Bank Rakyat Malaysia Bhd bagi menyediakan program “Million Ringgit Coop League” (MiRiCLe) untuk koperasi kluster mikro, kecil dan sederhana.
IKM dan Bank Rakyat memeterai Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) sempena Minggu Usahawan Nasional (MUN) 2019 yang dirasmikan hari ini.
Melalui program MiRiCLe itu, koperasi yang berpotensi akan diberi bimbingan dan latihan mengikut keperluan dan permintaan, menurut kenyataan yang dikeluarkan sempena MUN 2019.
Bank Rakyat memperuntukan RM500 juta untuk tempoh 10 tahun memandangkan koperasi adalah platform terbaik bagi menangani masalah ekonomi dan sosial negara.
Menurut kenyataan itu, koperasi yang berpotensi boleh mendapatkan pembiayaan minimum RM20,000 dan maksimum sehingga RM500,000 pada kadar faedah yang kompetitif jika memenuhi syarat yang ditetapkan.
MUN 2019 anjuran Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan (MED) acara yang julung kali diadakan itu berlangsung selama empat hari sehingga 1 Sept ini.
Menteri MED Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof dalam ucapannya berkata objektif penganjuran MUN 2019 itu adalah untuk menyebar luas potensi industri keusahawanan, terutama perusahaan kecil dan sederhana melalui nilai tambah dalam aspek teknologi tinggi dan platfrom digital.
“MED menyasarkan potensi jualan RM20 juta dan jualan tunai RM500,000 bagi Program Satu Daerah Satu Industri (SDSI) Nasional,” katanya.
