SERDANG, 13 Julai: Seramai 500 pekerja syarikat swasta dipilih dalam projek perintis kursus keibubapaan yang diperluaskan Kementerian Pembangunan Keluarga, Wanita dan Masyarakat (KPKWM), di bawah Tabung Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (HRDF)
Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, berkata kursus tahun ini dianjurkan Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN), membabitkan nilai pembiayaan sebanyak RM62,500.
Beliau berkata, ia juga selaras pengiktirafan diberikan Kementerian Sumber Manusia terhadap bidang kemahiran keibubapaan yang telah disenarai dalam latihan bidang berdaftar di bawah tabung HRDF berkenaan.
“Bermula 9 Julai lalu, LPPKN dilantik sebagai Penyedia Latihan Keibubapaan Berdaftar kepada majikan sektor swasta untuk tempoh tiga tahun.
“Ini projek rintis kerjasama antara HRDF dan LPPKN, dan kursus ini layak ditawarkan kepada syarikat yang berdaftar dengan HRDF sahaja,” katanya, dipetik ketika berucap merasmikan Forum Kebukaan Kreatif Mendepani Cabaran Alaf Baru sempena sambuatan Hari Ibu Bapa peringkat Kebangsaan 2019 di Universiti Putra Malaysia, di sini, hari ini.
Dr Wan Azizah yang juga Menteri KPKWM, berkata Inisiatif oleh LPPKN itu adalah bagi memberi tambah nilai kepada kemahiran keibubapaan dalam kalangan masyarakat, sekaligus sebahagian usaha untuk memperkukuhkan institusi kekeluargaan di negara ini.
Kata beliau lagi, pembiayaan itu dilaksanakan menerusi pemberian insentif yuran latihan kepada majikan yang berdaftar dengan HRDF, membabitkan hampir 27,000 buah syarikat.
