KUALA LUMPUR, 30 Jun 2019 — Kempen Pemilikan Rumah yang sepatutnya berakhir bulan ini, dilanjutkan hingga Disember bagi membuka ruang kepada lebih ramai rakyat untuk memiliki kediaman sendiri.
Menteri Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan, Zuraida Kamaruddin berkata ia juga diharap dapat membantu industri perumahan negara untuk berada pada landasan sebenar.
“Kempen yang dilancarkan sendiri oleh Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad ini telah mendapat sambutan yang baik daripada pembeli rumah dan syarikat pemaju perumahan,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Kempen itu mula dijalankan sejak Januari lepas atas inisiatif Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT) dengan kerjasama beberapa persatuan pemaju perumahan.
Zuraida menarik perhatian ia antara lain memberi manfaat kepada pembeli dengan menawarkan pengecualian terus duti setem atau pengurangan duti setem yang bergantung kepada harga unit kediaman.
“Selain itu, tambahan potongan harga 10 peratus berdasarkan harga permit iklan dan jualan asal atau harga jualan juga dapat dinikmati pembeli,” katanya.
Menurut Zuraida, beliau dimaklumkan terdapat permintaan yang kuat dalam kalangan pembeli dan syarikat pemaju agar tempoh kempen dilanjutkan hingga Disember berbanding sasaran asal sehingga Jun 2019.
