KOTA BHARU, 22 Jun 2019 — Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) menyasarkan perolehan 846 koperasi di Kelantan pada tahun ini mencecah RM1.5 bilion.
Pengarah SKM Kelantan Efendee O.P. Andu berkata sasaran itu berdasarkan perolehan sebanyak RM1.3 bilion yang dijana oleh koperasi berkenaan pada tahun lepas.
“Kita percaya sasaran berkenaan akan tercapai memandangkan peningkatan aktiviti perniagaan serta penawaran perkhidmatan oleh koperasi di negeri ini yang dilihat memberangsangkan pada tahun lalu,” katanya.
Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Mesyuarat Agung Perwakilan Tahunan Kali Ke-24 Tahun 2019 Koperasi Guru Melayu Kelantan Berhad (Koopguru) yang turut dihadiri Pengerusinya Ab Kadir Yaa’kob.
Efendee berkata, pihaknya juga berharap kerjasama dan ikatan ukhwah sesama koperasi di negeri ini dapat diperkukuhkan lagi agar dapat memaksimumkan hasil perolehan pada masa akan datang.
“Semua anggota koperasi perlu bergerak secara agresif dan bersepakat antara satu sama lain bagi mencapai sasaran tersebut,” katanya sambil menambah terdapat 277,664 anggota koperasi direkodkan di Kelantan pada tahun ini.
Terdahulu, Ab Kadir turut menyampaikan zakat perniagaan Koopguru sebanyak RM100,000 kepada wakil Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan (MAIK).
