JOHOR BAHRU, 14 Januari 2019 – Platform yang diwujudkan Kementerian Pertanian Malaysia dan Lembaga Pemasaran Pertanian Persekutuan (FAMA) melalui portaI Agrobazaar Online merupakan platform untuk generasi muda melibatkan diri di dalam bidang pemasaran produk pertanian dan industri asas tani secara dalam talian seiring dengan peredaran zaman.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kesihatan, Alam Sekitar dan Pertanian negeri, Dr Sahruddin Jamal berkata penglibatan dalam bidang pertanian dan industri asas tani penting bagi menyambung kesinambungan pengeluaran negara sekali gus membantu menampung keperluan rakyat.
Beliau berkata Kementerian Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani bersama jabatan dan agensi di bawahnya sentiasa menyediakan platform untuk generasi muda mendalami ilmu dalam bidang pertanian dan industri asas tani.
Beliau berkata demikian ketika berucap pada majlis pelancaran ‘MyAgrosis New Breed Marketing Entrepreneur (NBME)’ peringkat negeri Johor di Politeknik Metro Johor Bahru, di sini hari ini.
Dr Sahruddin berkata menerusi NBME, lebih ramai usahawan dalam kalangan graduan dapat dilahirkan sekali gus mewujudkan fenomena pencipta pekerjaan dan bukan sekadar pencari pekerjaan.
Beliau berkata NBME merupakan program kerjasama di antara FAMA menerusi portal Agrobazaar Online, anggota Kelab Myagrosis iaitu program usahawan siswazah tani serta usahawan industri asas tani.
Menurutnya, menerusi program pemasaran dalam talian itu, anggota Kelab MyAgrosis yang terlibat akan dilantik mempromosikan produk usahawan industri asas tani dengan menggunakan portal Agrobazaar Online sebagai medium jualan.
Mereka akan diberikan imbuhan berupa kadar komisen berdasarkan peratusan jualan produk sekali gus mampu menjana pendapatan tambahan.
“Sehubungan itu, saya ingin menyarankan supaya penuntut institusi pengajian tinggi menyertai Kelab MyAgrosis dan program NBME bagi menimba ilmu pengetahuan dalam bidang pemasaran pertanian dan industri asas tani dalam talian dan menjadikan ia sebagai kerjaya di masa hadapan,” katanya.
