IPOH, 21 Nov: Kerajaan Negeri menafikan dakwaan bahawa pembinaan Pusat Rehabilitasi Perkeso (Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial) negeri yang baharu dengan membabitkan peruntukkan sebanyak RM500 juta sebagai sebuah projek yang tidak munasabah.<\/p>\n
Exco Kesihatan, Hal Ehwal Pengguna, Integrasi Nasional dan Sumber Manusia, A Sivanesan, berkata projek bertaraf antarabangsa itu dilihat bakal membawa impak positif kepada Perak, termasuk penyediaan peluang pekerjaan.<\/p>\n
Projek itu, menurutnya yang dicadang dibangunkan di Lembah Kinta dan mendapat perkenan Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah juga akan memberi manfaat kepada hampir 12 juta pekerja yang mencarum dengan Perkeso.<\/p>\n
\u201cDalam perbahasan, YB (Yang Berhormat) Pengkalan Baru telah menyatakan bahawa pembinaan pusat rehabilitasi ini satu projek yang tidak munasabah. Untuk makluman, projek ini merupakan projek yang direstui Paduka Seri Sultan Perak Darul Ridzuan.<\/p>\n
\u201cMenteri Sumber Manusia (M Kulasegaran) telah mencadangkan pembinaan pusat ini untuk pesakit dari kawasan Utara, iaitu dari Perlis hingga Selangor,\u201d katanya pada sesi penggulungan Sidang Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Perak, di sini, hari ini.<\/p>\n
