PUTRAJAYA, 6 Feb — Penebusan awal Gantian Cuti Rehat (GCR) sebanyak 75 hari untuk ganjaran wang tunai bagi penjawat awam yang berkhidmat sekurang-kurangnya 15 tahun, memerlukan pindaan ke atas Peraturan-Peraturan Pencen 1980.
Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) dalam kenyataan hari ini memaklumkan pindaan itu perlu diselesaikan terlebih dahulu agar pelaksanaannya teratur mengikut undang-undang yang berkuat kuasa.
“Pengumuman penebusan awal GCR akan dikeluarkan dan dimaklumkan kepada umum melalui surat Pekeliling Perkhidmatan yang akan diedarkan kepada semua kementerian, jabatan dan agensi kerajaan,” jelasnya.
Semalam, Kongres Kesatuan Pekerja-pekerja Di Dalam Perkhidmatan Awam (CUEPACS) dilaporkan meminta agar pekeliling mengenai penebusan awal GCR 75 hari oleh penjawat awam dikeluarkan secepat mungkin.
Pemberian ganjaran wang tunai (GCR) yang tertakluk di bawah Peraturan-Peraturan Pencen 1980 merupakan satu daripada faedah yang akan diberikan kepada penjawat awam apabila bersara.
