PUTRAJAYA, 12 Julai 2019 — Persidangan Antarabangsa Pendidikan Khas ke-3 (ICSE) 2019 yang akan berlangsung di Surabaya, Indonesia esok sehingga Isnin akan memberi fokus kepada peluang pekerjaan untuk orang kurang upaya (OKU).
Kementerian Pendidikan (KPM) berkata persidangan anjuran bersama Pertubuhan Menteri-menteri Pendidikan Asia Tenggara–Pusat Serantau Pendidikan Khas (SEAMEO SEN), Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia dan Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) itu akan turut memberi tumpuan kepada pembangunan pendidikan, kesihatan, kebajikan, dasar dan undang-undang.
“Penekanan juga diberikan pada konteks pemampanan pendidikan inklusif, penglibatan masyarakat, Pendidikan dan Latihan Teknikal dan Vokasional (TVET), proses pengajaran-pembelajaran, pendekatan pedagogi serta kepentingan jaringan kerjasama dalam landskap pendidikan khas,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Bertemakan “Meningkatkan Inovasi untuk Pembangunan Mampan Pendidikan Khas”, ICSE 2019 merupakan platform bagi golongan profesional, penyelidik, ibu bapa, guru dan pentadbir sekolah dan institusi, serta pihak yang terlibat secara langsung atau tidak langsung berkaitan dengan golongan OKU.
SEAMEO SEN adalah pusat serantau yang khusus dalam menyediakan pembangunan pendidikan untuk pihak yang bergiat secara langsung dalam pendidikan khas di rantau Asia Tenggara.
